The GRAYHILL Touch Encoder™ Flushmount replaces many traditional user input devices with a single, easy-to-use device. It’s optimized for an adhesive install with minimal behind-panel thickness, and now comes with CANopen protocol support for streamlined integration across industrial and mobile control systems. Controlling multiple functions like temperature, lights, drive controls, and battery status is made easy with a single device.

The full T1 Touch Encoder range — including both flushmount and knob styles — has achieved official CANopen certification from CAN in Automation (CiA), giving engineers confidence in protocol conformance and system compatibility when integrating the Flushmount into distributed control systems and embedded control systems.

Rotational input is achieved through tracing a circular swipe around the display. Combined with tapping and directional swiping, the high-resolution touchscreen recognizes this full gesture set to let users customize and control various functions and navigate through menus and options seamlessly. The Touch Encoder’s optically-bonded display and touchscreen provide excellent sunlight readability.

With its highly customizable widgets, ability to incorporate pictures, and hundreds of screens, it is a versatile device that fits a wide range of applications, including industrial automation, robotics, aerospace, marine, and mobile equipment control.
