VectorPad Directional Keypad The VectorPad is a rear-panel-mounted, IP67-rated directional keypad engineered for rugged military, healthcare, and industrial control systems. Designed for compact embedded interfaces, it delivers full 4-way navigation with center select in a 1.6 in. (41 mm) square footprint. Built with high-strength silicone rubber over an FR-4 printed circuit board, VectorPad provides up to 1,000,000 actuations per key, consistent tactile response, and discrete electrical outputs for direct microcontroller integration. A PicoBlade connector enables flexible routing in dense panel layouts. VectorPad is tested to applicable MIL-STD-810H environmental methods, including temperature, immersion, vibration, shock, sand and dust, humidity, and chemical exposure. When installed with recommended mating geometry, it achieves IP67 sealing for protection against dust ingress and water immersion. Optional NVIS-compatible backlighting and custom legends are available for night-vision and mission-critical applications.
