The full T1 Touch Encoder range — including both flushmount and knob styles — has achieved official CANopen certification from CAN in Automation (CiA), giving engineers confidence in protocol conformance and system compatibility when integrating the Touch Encoder into distributed control systems and embedded control systems. As a certified CANopen operator interface, it gives designers a more direct path from operator input to machine function, with less custom integration work than proprietary protocols typically require.
